WORDS OF COMFORT

1. The Lord from heaven shall descend,
With the archangel's voice.
With Jesus' shout this age shall end-
Let heav'n and earth rejoice!

2. At first the dead in Christ shall rise,
And then we who remain;
Caught up with Jesus in the skies
With him to ever reign.

3. What comfort in these words are found;
They give the hope we need,
And when the trump of God shall sound,
We shall our hopes exceed.
